What are some of the differences you’ve found between New York vs Los Angeles design?

The aesthetic seems to shift in LA toward raw unfinished materials and embraces a more casual look. In NY, I see more use of brass and sleeker surfaces.

What are some of your favorite design resources in LA?

There are so many incredible galleries and showrooms in town. Some that come to mind are Grain, Galerie Half, Nickey Kehoe, The Window and Counter Space.

What is your favorite go-to spot in LA?

Hollyhock House by Frank Lloyd Wright is a heavy hitter for legendary and incredible interiors. The Richard Neutra VDI House is also exquisite and very rich with thoughtful design details.
