Jessica started her career in NYC working in the fashion and editorial industry while at Conde Nast. She worked with many talented photographers and designers ranging from W and T Magazine to photoshoots with Bruce Weber. She went on to work with Tamara Magel on opening an interior design showroom in Soho, as well as with Cristina Grajales and Fernando Santangelo assisting on design projects.
Jessica is currently a Design Director at Pembrooke & Ives. Her role straddles many facets of the design process, managing all aspects of a project. The team works collaboratively in developing the initial concepts, researching and sourcing interior furnishings, fixtures and materials appropriate to a budget. Together, they workshop and cultivate the designs for interior architecture and custom furniture, working with clients, contractors and vendors to make each concept come to life. Jessica offers a holistic approach, creating spaces that lend themselves to a lifestyle of comfort, melding craft with a modern aesthetic.
Jessica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Master’s degree in the History of Decorative Arts and Design from Parsons in NYC. She was awarded a fellowship in Scandinavian Design by the Cooper Hewitt Museum.
