Gretchen is the newest member of the leadership team, joining Pembrooke & Ives as a Design Director in 2021. She has had over 17 years of experience working in high end residential interiors, commercial interiors and hospitality design, with projects spanning the globe, from California to Mexico to the Middle East. Gretchen has worked with some of the most reputable design firms in the world, including the Rockwell Group and Morris Adjmi Architects, where she designed projects ranging from private clubs to hotels to arenas, and even Chef Jose Garces’ personal kitchen. Her work has been widely published in top home magazines, from Elle Décor to the Wall Street Journal.
Gretchen is expertly focused on client expression and creating projects that reflect the client’s taste and lifestyle needs. She is particularly interested in exploring sustainability in the context of luxury design. She holds a BA in English and a minor in Art History degree from Temple University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. In line with her creative spirit, Gretchen is also an avid painter and photographer.
