5 Playful and Practical Kid’s Bedrooms
Creating a bedroom for a child that feels whimsical, imaginative and functional is a must. As they grow, their needs and tastes evolve, necessitating the design of a room that can adapt with them over time. We’ve pulled together a few of our most loved kid’s bedroom designs that create playful, welcoming spaces to nurture creativity and individuality.

The Chatsworth
The children’s bedroom in our Chatsworth project has classic appeal with its twin bed set-up and neutral color palette. The beds include custom under-bed storage to help minimize clutter in the room. The soft, muted tones lend a soothing atmosphere, while bold red accents, from the desk and ceiling fixture to a playful toy car wall sculpture, imparts a lively sense of personality into the space.

Central Park South
The colorful bedroom in our Central Park South project strikes the perfect balance for a growing child. A full-sized bed ensures the space evolves with them, while vibrant accent pieces and décor introduce playful pops of color. This approach allows for effortless customization, enabling the room’s palette to adapt as tastes change.
Uptown Penthouse
Our Uptown Penthouse project features two impeccably designed children’s bedrooms. The bunk room, with space to comfortably sleep three, is ideal for siblings, cousins, or friends to share and create lasting memories. Meanwhile, the second bedroom provides a private and elegant retreat, tailored for a young girl with a growing sense of style.

The Wales
This cozy model bedroom from the Wales project features a modern palette of teal and yellow. The space is tactile with thoughtfully layered textures in the wallcoverings and oversized area rug. This design incorporates simple geometric shapes in the rug, decorative objects, and furniture silhouettes, fostering a creative environment.

Park Avenue
This room, designed for two young sisters in our Park Avenue project, fully maximizes every inch of space. The design is a creative spin on a classic bunk bed—a lofted twin bed with a desk for two below and a full-size bed adjacent. The room’s monochromatic purple hue, coupled with the acrylic 60s bubble chair and the modern multi-shade light overhead, create a chic yet kid-friendly space and introduce a softness that counters the rigid lines of the millwork.
