Originally from Colorado, Nathan moved to New York in 1998 to study at Pratt Institute and received his BFA in Interior Design with a minor in Art History from F.I.T.
Nathan joined the prestigious firm of Alexandra Champalimaud & Associates where he was introduced to the world of hospitality design working on multiple projects in New York, Palm Beach and London. At Nathan Egan Interiors, he honed his skills working in bespoke high end residential projects. After 5 years as Senior Designer in the boutique firm, Nathan was recruited as a candidate for BRAVO TV’s second season of Top Design where he was the season’s winner.
Nathan launched his own eponymous firm where he focused on residential commissions in New York, Greenwich and Long Island. Five years after being in business, Nathan joined the ranks of Bruce Bierman Design working as Senior Design Director for nearly four years focusing primarily on custom interiors throughout Manhattan, Greenwich and Palm Beach. Nathan came to Pembrooke & Ives in 2018 as a Studio Director, leading a team of four in the design and decorating of high end residential projects.
Nathan ambitiously approaches each project with a dedication to understanding the client and project needs with attention to fine tuning the details, ultimately creating luxurious spaces exhibiting personality and warmth.
